Welcome! I am a graphic designer, journalist, and photographer with 27 years of experience and a wide array of ever-evolving industry skills.

 

I started my career in newspapers, intending to follow my passion for writing and editing. I quickly learned that I also had a natural skill for design and visuals. My newspaper upbringing helped me to fall in love with accuracy and organization alongside my natural bent for creativity and spectacle.

I learned to type on a typewriter in high school and made newspapers with paste-up boards and light tables in college. Now I’m a seasoned designer in the modern age, and it looks nothing like the world I first knew. But I’ve never been afraid to learn the latest software or platform.

 

Over the years, I’ve added photography, video editing, animation, and web design to my toolkit.
